Grandma's Apple Cake
Grandma's apple cake is a simple, soft, and fragrant dessert perfect for breakfast and snacks. Discover the ingredients and tips to make it!

Instructions
- 1
To prepare grandma's apple cake, first peel the apples and remove the core. Slice them into thin slices. Place them in a bowl with the juice of half a lemon. Mix to distribute the juice and prevent them from turning brown.
- 2
Melt the butter cut into pieces in the microwave for 30 seconds, or in a saucepan over very low heat. Let it cool slightly. In a bowl, pour in the eggs, add the sugar, add the starch, flour, and baking powder, all sifted.
- 3
Then, pour in the lukewarm melted butter, the milk, and the ground cinnamon.
- 4
Work the ingredients with an electric mixer until you obtain a homogeneous mixture. When it is ready, add two-thirds of the apples to the batter and mix.
- 5
Pour the batter into a buttered and floured mold, preferably a 22 cm diameter springform pan. Level it and add the remaining apples on top. Bake in a preheated oven at 180° for 55 minutes. Do the toothpick test to check the cooking before removing the cake from the oven. Let it cool completely before removing it from the mold and serving the apple cake.
