Sliders - A Perfect Party Finger Food

Ingredients

  • Non-stick Cooking Spray
  • 12 hawaiian sweet rolls
  • 1/2 tbsp Neutral Oil
  • 1 lb Ground Beef
  • 1/2 onion
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire Sauce
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp Garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp Paprika
  • 2 tbsp mayonnaise
  • 10 Medium Cheddar Cheese
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1/2 tbsp everything bagel seasoning

Equipment

  • Oven
  • 9x11” Baking Dish
  • Medium Skillet

Instructions

  1. 1

Gather and prepare all ingredients. Preheat your oven to 350°F and grease a 9x11” baking dish with cooking spray.

  2. 2

Slice the rolls in half lengthwise and place the bottom half in the baking dish.

  3. 3

Heat the vegetable oil in a medium skillet over medium heat. Once hot, add the ground beef, minced onions, Worcestershire sauce, salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and paprika. Cook the beef for 10 minutes, breaking it up as you go.

  4. 4

Once the beef is no longer pink and cooked through, using a slotted spoon, scoop out the beef mixture into a medium bowl, leaving as much grease in the skillet as possible.

  5. 5

Add the mayonnaise to the beef mixture and fold to combine.

  6. 6

Place 5 slices of cheddar cheese on the bottom layer of the Hawaiian rolls, breaking one of the slices to cover the rolls.

  7. 7

Layer the beef mixture evenly on top of the cheddar slices.

  8. 8

Top the beef evenly with the remaining cheddar cheese slices, breaking the last slice again.

  9. 9

In a small bowl, stir together the melted butter and everything bagel seasoning.

  10. 10

Place the top of half of the Hawaiian rolls on the beef and cheese. Using a brush, evenly cover the top rolls with the melted butter mixture.

  11. 11

Place the dish on the center rack in the oven and bake for about 12-15 minutes, until golden brown and melty.

Ago's Notes

  • Adjust salt to taste based on your canned goods.

Let the flavors mingle and the warmth of the kitchen linger—these sliders are a testament to simplicity meeting satisfaction. Trust the process, and let each bite carry you to a place of comfort. While Italian meatballs may be more complex, these sliders pack a flavorful punch in just 15 minutes. Enjoy the perfect balance of savory beef and melted cheese in every bite.
