Twelve pull-apart Hawaiian-roll sliders layered with seasoned beef, mayonnaise, cheddar, and buttery everything-bagel topping.

These party-size cheeseburger sliders build the familiar burger flavors into one efficient baked slab. Keeping the Hawaiian rolls connected makes the two cheddar layers and seasoned beef easy to distribute evenly, while the buttered everything-bagel topping turns crisp and deeply golden in the oven.

Baked Cheeseburger Sliders

Ingredients

Ingredients

  • Non-stick Cooking Spray, for the baking dish
  • 12 hawaiian sweet rolls, keep connected
  • 1/2 tbsp Neutral Oil
  • 1 lb Ground Beef
  • 1/2 onion, about ½ cup or 120 g
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire Sauce
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp Garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp Paprika
  • 2 tbsp mayonnaise, 40 g
  • 10 Medium Cheddar Cheese, divided

For the topping

  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1/2 tbsp everything bagel seasoning

Equipment

  • Oven
  • baking dish
  • Skillet
  • bowl
  • pastry brush
  • chef's knife
  • cutting board

Instructions

  1. 1

Preheat the oven to 350°F/175°C and coat a 9×11-inch/23×28-cm baking dish with nonstick spray.

  2. 2

Without separating the twelve connected rolls, slice the slab horizontally. Put the bottom half in the prepared baking dish.

  3. 3

Heat the vegetable oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add the ground beef, minced onion, Worcestershire sauce, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and paprika. Cook for about 10 minutes, breaking up the beef, until no pink remains.

  4. 4

Transfer the cooked beef to a bowl with a slotted spoon, leaving as much rendered fat as possible in the skillet. Fold in the mayonnaise until evenly combined.

  5. 5

Cover the bottom rolls with five cheddar slices, tearing one as needed for edge-to-edge coverage. Spread the beef mixture evenly over the cheese, then cover with the remaining five cheddar slices.

  6. 6

Stir the melted butter and everything-bagel seasoning together. Replace the top half of the rolls and brush the seasoned butter evenly over them.

  7. 7

Bake on the center rack for 12–15 minutes, until the tops are golden and the cheese is melted. Separate into twelve sliders and serve hot.

Ago's Notes

  • Keep the rolls connected when slicing them horizontally so the sliders assemble and bake as one pull-apart slab.
  • The source recipe card allows 25 minutes for cooking: about 10 minutes for browning the beef and 12–15 minutes for baking.
  • These sliders are best served hot and fresh. Refrigerate leftovers in an airtight container for 3–4 days.

Bake until the connected roll tops are golden and both cheddar layers are melted, then separate into twelve sliders.
