Sometimes, all it takes is a little bit to satisfy a craving for something sweet without feeling too heavy: these apple baskets are a simple and light idea, perfect for autumn. Only two basic ingredients, no added sugars or fats, all the natural sweetness of the fruit and the healthy fats from the almonds. Plus, they are also vegan and gluten-free! I make them when I'm in the mood for something tasty but light, that I can enjoy for breakfast or a snack with a hot tea, or even after dinner, every day. I only use almond flour and apple puree, but you can add cinnamon, ginger, or a pinch of vanilla to customize them and make them even more fragrant and delicious.

Apple Baskets

Ingredients

  • 2.3 oz Almond flour
  • 100 rg di purea di mele
  • 2 mele
  • cannella

Instructions

  1. 1

First, peel the apples and cut them into small cubes.

  2. 2

Then, cook them in a non-stick pan with a couple of tablespoons of water for about 10-15 minutes or until they are soft (you can add the spices during cooking).

  3. 3

Meanwhile, in a bowl, combine the almond flour and apple puree, divide the mixture into muffin tins, and shape the baskets with your fingers. Distribute the cooked apples in the baskets and bake for about 15-20 minutes or until lightly golden in a preheated oven at 350°F (180°C).

  4. 4

The apple baskets are ready, now all you have to do is enjoy them.

Ago's Notes

  • Adjust the salt based on the salt content of the canned goods.

May the sweet flavor of the apples blend with the warmth of the cinnamon, creating a balance that will make each bite memorable. Enjoy your meal, and may your table always be full of harmony.

The Easter bunny cake is a visually stunning and irresistible dessert, perfect for bringing something different to the table during the holidays. It's a soft and delicious chocolate cake base, similar to a flourless chocolate cake, topped with whipped cream and lots of colorful decorations that make it cheerful and very appealing, especially for children. It's not a traditional recipe, I know, but sometimes it's nice to break the mold and have fun with a creative dessert that captivates at first glance.
